Supply Chain Network Expands Workforce

In 2021, Supply Chain Network (SCN) was awarded several projects across a range of industries including the public sector, private sector, manufacturing, and logistics. Welcoming a combination of new and repeat clients, SCN has managed multiple projects spanning just this year alone.

Professionals within the supply chain industry, the SCN team continue to deliver their skills and expertise in a variety of client sectors throughout the UK, providing services from CAD warehouse design, facility build and fit-out, to logistics network planning, and eCommerce facility and WMS specification and design.

Celebrating 12 years and significant growth, SCN commended a record year in 2021, and entering a busy New Year in 2022, is looking forward to expanding their team during this exciting and dynamic period of growth.

Having been in the logistics industry for over 40 years, one of our current associates, Dan, joined SCN in 2021 working on several client’s projects each with its own complexities.

“One of the main reasons for Joining SCN UK was the culture which is at the core of its service offering of “We are in this together”. From the initial discussion to the Scoping of the document Ian Maughan gains a full understanding of the client’s problems and opportunities which is then briefed to the Associates who are chosen based on their level of expertise to work on behalf of the client. An interim review is held face to face with the client, lead consultant and the associates to feedback on the understanding of the data, any quick wins and to gain the final steer before designing the solution that will work for the client. The positive feedback I have personally received at all the meetings I have had both on-site and at the reviews from the client and seeing them progress with the recommendations makes the time and effort all worthwhile."

SCN recognises that involvement, commitment and ownership of the customers' issues are essential for client trust that then turn into a solution and recommendations backed up by data and real-time scenario's that the client can recognise, which allows for a better understanding and success rate of implementation.

As 2021 draws to an end, the SCN team, based in Harrogate, are looking for skilled individuals to join the associate team. If you are interested to apply, please email your CV and a short cover letter directly to Ian Maughan: ian.maughan@scnuk.com detailing your experience. We wish you a pleasant festive season and look forward to welcoming your expressions of interest.
